  • A vacuum gets created over your skin as the air inside the cup cools.
  • This results in the expansion of your blood vessels, changing the blood flow.
  • The cup is placed for 2-3 minutes and might be moved from one place to another.
  • In the case of wet therapy, the acupuncturist will further extend the process and suction the blood for additional therapeutic benefits.
  • Once the therapy is done, an antibiotic ointment and bandage will be applied to prevent infection and ensure optimal results.
